All right. I called the Liverpool Police Department internationally using this info and they said the police would go check on him

That was a wonderful thing to do! I hope he`s ok. His post made me so sad I seriously wanted to cry! I`ve dealt with this feeling before but there is hope and things do get better! They did for me!

I know I am going to be hated for saying this but I believe suicide posts do not belong on WrongPlanet. They pretty much in danger the site with possible lawsuits if the site moderators do not do enough to prevent or report the suicide. I would hate to see WP go down because someone attempted suide or was successfull at it and their grieving family sue Alex Plank or WP for stopping their love ones death or near death inccident.

He might not be posting because he is under a 72 hour suicide watch. I know if you threaten that in the United States they can hold you for observation for at least 72 hours if the cop thinks you wil harm yourself. That is why I never say it or post it. Can they do anything like that in Britain for saying or post that you want to kill yourself?

I guess I am having a hard time following your logic. I get that suicide posts may endanger the site. I get that part. What I don't get is where exactly do suicide posts belong? I mean, if you're a regular poster and feel comfortable here that's where you're gonna post it. If you're feeling so low that you are actually planing on killing yourself and you think that you might want to post here (for a last cry for help otherwise I see no other reason to post it) about it you're not gonna stop and not do it because it will break the site rules. Site rules are not gonna seem that important at that moment. Plus, in this case we're talking about a 15 yo kid. There was one teen that killed herself from this site before and I only wish she'd said something so we could have intervened the way Purchase did here. She may still be alive. Being a teen with AS is really difficult. They need to hold onto some hope from our words that things do get better, even if they don't seem like it from where they're at.
