Thank you for your support everybody.

In the US I'm pretty sure you can't be held criminally liable for attempting suicide. But, I was hit with a $700 charge on my credit card from the motel. Must have been the cleanup cost.

ECT has been around a long time, and it is a completely voluntary procedure. I still can't drive for another week because of it.

I would like to think that the vast majority of people on this forum recognize that people who attempt suicide need help and should not be labeled as criminals, the legitimate argument that suicide is a selfish act notwithstanding.

Sounds like you have a pretty good idea of what caused it, which is great. Going forward please remember to listen to your body as well as your mood and mental function, when it starts to go watch your levels of sleep, nutrition, and stress in general.

Good luck and hopefully the years you have to look forward to will be well worth catching.

I think if I was suicidal I would go for the ect because I have an enlarged heart and extremely high blood pressure I would hope the shocks would destroy my heart killing me in the process.

I hope the 'if' is accurate and you aren't saying you are.

I'm glad that you're alive today and I hope that you start feeling better, soon.
