Asperger's is just a different way of thinking and functioning and percieving the world. It means you have some difficulties and some qualities. .

Which are often forgotten!

I don't like being called Autistic. It just sounds too harsh for my level of severity (which isn't very severe). I prefer it to be called ''a mild form of Autism'' or ''an ASD''.

First of all that is a little bit arrogant there, I don't know that someone with classic autism would appreciate that, considering autistic and mental retardation are two different things and people with neither should be hated they
did not choose to be that way.

Anyways I suggest you go look up the symptoms of Autism and the symptoms of Aspergers and compare, and
maybe learn something.

If you're really curious about what high functioning and low functioning autistics have in common, you could ask without using word like "ret*d spaz" or bringing up offensive stereotypes. Or better yet, do a little bit of research for yourself, instead of offending everyone. FYI You can have average/above average intelligence and still "stim all day." I am a college student with a 3.8 GPA and I still stim, it's just that I only stim in private. And many low functioning autistics can be very intelligent (sometimes more intelligent than NTs) in certain areas or interests

And why would I (a person with classic autism) want to be associated with all the supposedly jerk "Aspies" who need to grow up and get over themselves?

My point is, to be clear, that most people with AS are no more jerks who need to get over themselves than people with autism are the words you used that I won't even repeat.

This is offensive, I am autistic and I happen to stim most of the day, does that mean I don't deserve your respect or that I am a ret*d?

I stim quite frequently as well. Stimming does not =retard--which is a VERY offensive term whether you are applying it to someone with or without autism. I hope there are not too many people like this guy around. I really think he thinks he is better than us.

Begeezus, OP, don't you know that the stimming of us autistic ret*ds makes the Earth rotate on its axis and revolve in its orbit around the Sun? You wouldn't even have your day and night different if we weren't rocking back and forth to keep the planet in place.

I patented a device that takes advantage of this:

ASD Modulated Power Generation - Patent # 124878688788

It turns out that even though it generates free electricity, using it slows down the universe.

Ooh, hey, maybe that means we can change the cosmological constant!

And so it begins. The Dawning of the Age of the Autistic ret*ds. We now control the Horizontal AND the Vertical. Flap, flap, flap...

We are not simply ret*ds.

We are ret*ds with no sense of humor.

I lack imagination as well. Everything that I've ever posted on this forum was more rote than meaning.
