Thanks for the tip!

Lucky for me I'm often carrying something anyways. One thing I do that I'm not sure is positive is put my hands in my pockets (one of them at least) - sometimes catch myself doing it still.

No, I've never been called ''robotic'', nor felt robotic.

^^Yea, I really have to focus on moving my arms when I walk or else they'll be pinned to my sides. I think when I was little, I used to look down though; only difference is now I do it with my nose up.

Here is a tip though, I try to carry things in my hands so I don't have swing my arms. I hold my ipod infront of me and I tug at my purse with my other hand. It helps!

Happens to me too. But whenever I hold something in my hand while walking, I hold it with both hands, even if it's just a pencil (except for grocery bags, I subconsciously spin them). My final speech in my speech class was perfect except that the professor took away three points for "playing with watch" (I don't have a watch, it was my notecard). Now my walking is starting to be more natural since I found out about AS and realized that I look weird when I twist my hands. I now try to synchronize my arms while walking.

Also, yes, I've been called "robotic" before. One reason is the way I talk (monotone voice), and another reason is that I don't use the bathroom (not at school).
I've also been called "alien" (not in a mean way, I don't think) and have been asked to show my spaceship. :P

Yes I have had this several times. It's because of my anxiety I hold myself in like I have 4 walls around me. Also, my voice has been described as monotonic, though these days I'm better at having a more normal sounding voice, consciously, unless I am very sleepy, then it gets worse. Though, it might just be that way because I grew up in a sterile environment, lack of love, resentment from my mother, lack of cuddly pets, the makings of an a-social child...
I *cannot stand* when people call me robotic especially in my face. It's highly offensive and depressing. It's those remarks that flash through my mind when I consider suicide.
Not to mention, those same kind of people tend to be patronizing or passive aggressive as well.

Does not compute.

Yes! Some many times :(. I've noticed when I walk I swing one arm and the other is tight by my side like they march in the military. To avoid looking awkward I plant both my hands into my pockets if I have pockets.
