According to the test I am 21% autistic... I think it's quite fair to be honest as I'm a high functioning autistic. The only problem I found with the test is that it didn't have an option to write an answer to questions if none of the above answers fitted you. . For example, what is the highest education you've had? I can't answer that properly because I'm only 16 and therfore haven't completed my education. Maybe they could taylor the questions to age ranges perhaps? Some of the questions asked however are a little bit on the loopy side unfortunately. Since when did the ability to ride your bike affect how autistic you are? It may be a lack of co-ordination but to me it seems stupid to ask such a thing.

Moronic test

After reading this I thought I wouldn't bother with this test, but here's the result anyway:

"You are 8% Autistic. You are one of the lucky ones. You have been raised very well by your parents. You've actually graduated from college! Either with a two-year, four-year, master's or even a Ph.D degree. You have a LOT of potential to live on your own, take care of yourself and hold down a good paying job. You also have the potential to get married and start a wonderful family of your own. You are an inspiration! CONGRATULATIONS!! !"

Who would have thought? Thanks for the encouraging anyway...

That was totally daft - I scored 4%, that's despite not having a job (but it didn't ask why I didn't have a job either). I'm a 38yr old married woman with a child, so it's almost inevitable that I'd be able to do all of those things, except drive.

According to that I am 21% austistic but it is a terrible test. I never new a person's ability to wash a car has anything to do with autism.
Well, not if your very high functioning, but if you also jave Accompinying Learning Disabilities then that could get in the way, so you maybe couldn't waash a car without help. But I agree that the test isn't really aplying that much to autism. It's applying more to the deley's that sometimes come with autism.

Why??? It's fair enough to have questions like that since some people with autism are like that. You can't just have high functioning questions, since it's a test of how autistic you are on a scale. But I think it should have a bit more questions applying more to autism that Learning Disabilities. I'm not saying the repeating words onme is an :D one, but a lot of them are.

The test told me I could drive after I said I couldn't.

That's about as useful as it is to me, I guess.

The questions are pretty bad, and the scoring makes no sense, to be honest.

This test made me laugh out loud a lot cause i got a sense of sarcasm from it ... "I'm too autistic to bathe myself" ha ha ha "Where's my training wheels" ha ha
Either a really spiteful ASD person wrote this test or a really spiteful, patronizing 'NT' wrote this...

"I am too autistic to get a relationship."
Oh that one hits home...

25%

Some of the questions are impossible.

Can I wash a car? I don't know - I don't own one because I can't drive.

Do I know how to write a resume and cover letter? Possibly. I do write them, but I don't have a job, so maybe not.

My favourite questions are Can you read? and Do you know how to use a computer? They should also have asked Can you take quizzes?

To all those saying that these things are unrelates to ASD, there are some autistic people who can't do those things.

But autism isn't always just a communication disorder! People with Classic Autism often have accomanying Learning Difficulties which sometimes means you can't do those things.
