Thank you all so much! I couldn't post the link because I was a lurker & didn't have enough posts. Thanks to someone for doing that for me. We are now in 4th place, so any more votes would really help. I really want this for my son:) I am going to make it happen in some way, shape or form no matter what happens, but these points would just make it so that we can stay in a hotel with a kitchen - not happening otherwise...not in our budget!

Thanks again.....we have 7.5 more hours to go...fingers crossed :D

I voted.

It seems to be a very unreliable way of voting, though, with one vote per computer - or rather, one vote per IP address...

I agree. I am far from computer literate, but it seemed strange to me also. My mom and brother each wanted to vote, but they couldn't do it - even from different computers. They live in the same house, so I guess that was the reason.

After reading it, and watching the video I decided to vote, but you really should really reconsider asking random people on the internet for things...why not make a facebook fanpage to help you get votes virally?

Thanks for the vote. I did post on my fb, but we were only given less than 24 hours notice that we were finalists & that there was a vote. Originally the guy said that he would be choosing the winner, but he couldn't decide so put it up to a vote. I am probably old and not too tech savvy compared to many here, so that was the best I could do, other than sending email & calling friends & family. In the end though, it wasn't enough :cry: A much younger (and probably techier - is that a word?) guy than me ended up winning.

Thanks to all who did vote for us though. I *will* be taking my son to see those volcanoes...just won't be staying in the expensive hotel...lol.
