Funny that you mention headphones. I tried on a pair of Bose noise-canceling headphones today, and WOW. They are incredible (and incredibly expensive). They work. No joke. Does anyone here use something like that? Does it help or does it create it's form of annoyance with the muffled effect?

I like music. but music with short repetitive beats or the same lyrics over and over and over and over again will drive me up a f*****g wall.

I love music and own hundreds of CDs, but sometimes I just can't listen to it. I've never heard someone say it hurts before, but that is definitely how it feels sometimes. I can't ever listen to loud music, not even my own.
