Does anyone else hate the sound of clapping?

Glad to see I'm not alone, I have always hated the sound of clapping. I never realized how much until I started going out with a musician who claps out 'beats' constantly, it makes me jump out of my skin when he does this just out of the blue. He also snaps his fingers. Grrrr!! !! !!

the higher the pitch of the clap, the more painful it is, unfortunately I sometimes clap as a stim :/

I absolutely loathe clapping from the very bottom of my demented heart. When people clap, they fail to realize not only how annoying the sound is, but how utterly idiotic they look doing it! It reminds me of a lobotomized sea lion begging for fish chunks.


I especially hate when people feel the urge to clap during a concert, thus interrupting otherwise good music. Save it for afterward, people.
