There are lots of 'other' ways of watching these episodes too.

I could see Mr. Garrison teaching the class about Asperger's, but spelling it "ass burgers" on the blackboard.

Indeed. In fact I've got a website up right now with a countdown to when the episode is added to the site :D I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link it though, if it comes under some piracy thing maybe? :?

Yeah, not what I expected either. I liked it though, and think they did a really good job. I thought they would just parody people with asperger's, but it seemed more like they parodied society's view of it and I thought it was really good. I think it would've been better, though, if they had done it earlier when they anti-vaccine movement was raging. But it was good, and it turned out that that part of the story didn't even take up most of the episode.

That was a parody of society's (incorrect) views on a lot of things. There were just so many stereotypes that it was hard to keep up. Interestingly enough, I didn't see anything that resembled Asperger's anywhere.

And the part about the name was hilarious to me.

I watched it. I recommend watching the Matrix first if you haven't. It will make you understand the episode better and it's a good movie. I'm watching it right now.

It's like nts live in the matrix and only non nt people can see the world for what it really is.

I've seen the Matrix and.... still not so crazy about that part.

Especially the end when we find Stan still has that bottle of alcohol and sneaks drinks from it. That just... WTF???

I loved Cartman's "secret flavor enhancer" though... Cartman really has a way with cardboard boxes, doesn't he? (Remember AWESOMO 3000?)

Oh, crap! They stole my Ass Burgers idea!!

I had a brain storm sitting in therapy the other day. I was going to print up a T-shirt-- bright blue ink on a blaze orange shirt or something equally loud-- depicting a braying donkey (jackass) smooshed on a hamburger bun with the caption "Ask me about Ass Burgers."

Now I'll just get busted for copyright infringement. Another original idea comes too late.

Still kicking myself over Heelys. I had that idea back in the '80s. Stupid low self-esteem...

Remember: A laugh at your own expense a day keeps the psychiatrist away!!

Ever see "Cartmanland" ? There's an Aspie trait or two in that one. Also the only 100% clean episode I ever saw. I don't know how they managed that. 8O

The only aspie trait I can think of is his dislike of crowds, but he seems to dislike them more due to the fact that they create lines, which inconveniences him by making him have to wait to get on a ride and have fun, not so much that he's actually anxious about being in crowds of people.

It's his sheer contentment in a world of his own that I noticed. Though he could be more of a sociopath than an Aspie.

I'm not sure making a guy eat his own parents falls under the definition of Asperger's! Definite sociopath.
