I hate rain.

How about the Atacama Desert in Chile. It only rains once every 500 years.

Rain on a tin roof is one of the best sounds in the world, even though it's noisy. Puts you right to sleep.

I like the rain as well, as long as the wind isn't blowing it into my face (that's where my baseball cap can come in handy). It's a nice cool feeling, and it trickling down my face is also neat. The only times where I can enjoy the rain though are when I'm walking down to the bustop to get to school, or getting off it to school, or getting from school to the bustop, or lastly from the bustop to home. Everyone will hate the rain that feels like paintball gun shots when they hit you, and hailing is uncomfortable. I've never experienced snow before, because Wellington's air is full of salt from the sea, so rain is nice and soothing. However, I'm quite suprised I haven't been electrocuted by my MP3 player yet...

I'm fascinated by rain, clouds, lightening. I love the smell, the sounds, the feel of the air afterwards, but I go into an absolute impasse if I get wet by cold rain. In fact I carry a giant garbage bag in my wallet, that I can quickly turn into a pancho, in case I get caught out when the rain starts.

Rain or any cold water touching my torso sets off a whole series of alarms, which almost shuts me down completely. However, if I'm prepared and protected, I love being out in it.

I love the Rain. I love everything about it. I love the sight of it, comming down. I love the sound of it, pounding on the ground. I like how it's not too bright outside, when it's raining out. I love how the Rain drives most of the School Kids inside on after they get home, or on the weekends. I love the wetness and the freshness of the air. I like to curl up to an early evening in Bed, when it's raining outside. The Rain makes everything a nice shade of green, in moderate doses, and not the over-powering green of a National Park. It's fun to take Chico for a walk in the Rain, because I know that most of the rude children are locked-up inside. The Rain makes my Winters that much more bearable. Another thing that I love about the Rain is that it takes a break, for the Summer. 8)

Judging by these posts, Rain seems to be a synonymous liking for Aspies (I used to dislike that term, but it's starting to grow on me), almost like it is to stay home and do not a lot or the old London and Double-Decker buses, or Wellington and the wind. It's just something we can all agree on: Rain is a pretty sweet thing.

Sometimes when it's raining at the bustop everyone will crowd under the shelter, while I stand outside and let all hell (or heaven, in our case) break loose. It's also due to the common trait that we don't like being in enclosed spaces with a lot of people. But yeah, thank god for rain!

I don't really like rain because then I have to wear more clothes to avoid getting sick, and I HATE clothes. Especially the plasticky type, which is the only waterproof kind.
I do like it in summer if it's warm enough. It isn't the rain I hate, it's the cold it brings (because it makes me wear more stuff).

But it's still the actual water that we enjoy, right? Except in likedcalico and Bart21's case.

I love rain, I love the smell and the sound. I love the thought that it gives everything a wash. Feeds the grass and trees, the greens all around. Warm rains I love to be in, love to feel iton me . One of the things I don't mind on my skin. the wet earth smell that comes through my window.

I love it.

I just feel so relaxed sat up here.

Anyone else relaxed by the rain?
Bright sunny wether alaways did stress me a great deal, so I do cloudy/rainy wether much better. But while that wether dose calm me, bein out in it gives me a quite an adrenelan rush, for ex up to the deli to get breakfast during a rainstorm last week, it's realy awsome lol.

sunshine stresses me and makes me think of all the people anxiously rushing or walking around outside. Rain comforts me and makes me feel like things are happening or something exciting will occur. I love the feeling when something exciting is happening...it enlightens me and awakens my senses. The thunder and lightening makes me smile and laugh giddy with delight. Petrichor is one of my favorite smells. "It's a beautiful day!" Oh, be quiet...it ain't beautiful.
