Dude, I never get bored, ever. I just make things to do. If I get bored, I'll like, decarbonize a cylinder head or take apart or try to fix something. Or cook. Cooking is fun. Just find stuff you like doing.

I always figured boredom was an "NT" thing (before I knew the term NT.) Like, I'd hate being on AIM, and having people IM me "I'm bored." I just didn't get that. I just thought "uh...you have a computer."

Then again, NVLD makes you half a genius. Only half, though. Sucks.

I've never had this problem. I can almost always find something to do to occupy my time. I'm rarely bored.

I have a habit of just insisting that the teacher/prof teach me more than they teach usually; go more in depth. I bug them with questions during class and in their offices. If they don't want to teach me more, I start just kind of drifting away from their classes and learning on their own. If they do, I eventually hit questions to which the answer is "Nobody knows that yet." Because nobody's figured it out. And then I add it to my mental list of stuff I might be able to figure out some day.

If the prof likes my doing that, then I've gained a friend. If not, then I know they're not into teaching people and just want the salary (or have been forced into it because they're doing research and being required to teach), so I kinda just start skipping class and learn from the textbook.

I get A's and B's, with a sprinkling of F's where I burned out and stopped doing much of anything. It seems to work.

I get bored if I run out of things to think about. (Which is almost never.)

Numb your mind - either with practice and discipline, if you're old enough numb it with alcohol, and - if you're old enough - some combination of both is typically optimal.

Alcohol. That's my medicine. It's sad, but I must do something to dumb myself down to be able to survive in this zoo called "society".

Sitting in front of the TV numbs me down. Though I usually get absorbed in another documentary. People numb me down too.

My impatience turns to boredom fast especially when I'm somewhere where I can't access some quick enjoyment. There's my phone but I rarely think to use that. I get over my games and applications quite quickly.

But when I'm bored I figure soon my mind will get interested in something.
