How do you deal with nosey people?

most of the people here in india are nosey pokey.
there are gossipy aunts all around
they keep asking each and every detail about your life
i remember one of my aunt used to call up and keep digging for info
after her call if i called up some other relative they would have the info
which i gave her.
she would quickly pass on the info to others...............such was the wide net of hers

i have totally disconnected her from my life.
we aspies should learn to keep at bay this nosey pokeys

I'm really nosy myself and I find it sad that some people just mind their own business. I mind my businesses but also others's. I love earing random converstaion in public places for exemple but I hate having a conversation with someone when every one can hear.

Honetly, if every body would mind only their own business, don't you think that would be very boring place? I mean, even more that what it is now?

conversation could be anything about nature, hobbies, books, movies.....why dig into personal life just for entertaintment

I usually ignore them, but sometimes I have some fun by planting some fake information to cause them to make idiots of themselves. Beyond that, I generally don't care if people know my business, as long as it's not something that exposes me to crime or harm.
