But what if you got paid for irritating the hell out of NTs, could be some good money there.

Hell yeah. Let me know if there's ever a market for it.

Actually, there is a market for it: Marketing. The more annoying your advertisements, the more attention you get and the more money you make. Can't lose there!

Me neither :( I am one of those Aspies of completely average intelligence. Well, maybe I'm a good writer but I lack the motivation to actually publish something.

I'm sure there is a market out there for that, you just need to figure out how to get the people who care to know about it and figure out how to make it profitable.

Have you tried the BBC?

Over the last decade there has been a fair bit of cash sloshing around academia for digital preservation. Probably all been spent now though. :(

the problem is that the lions' share of record collectors are a perverse bunch, in that they actually LIKE record disc surface noises and tape hiss! you see, it is a psychological thing with them in that when they hear the noise it reminds them of their younger years when they listened to their favorite music on typically crappy young persons' sound systems. as for academia and science/industry, they always have their own in-house audio wizards for this sort of thing.

the BBC has long had their own in-house R&D involving restoration of their back catalog. in the 80s they partnered with cambridge university to invent CEDAR [Computer Enhanced Digital Audio Restoration], a series of computer algorithms packaged either in rack-mounted "black boxes" or in digital audio workstations, which attack the various aural corruptions analog recordings are prey to. i use a CEDAR Declicker myself. sure am glad i found it cheap on ebay a decade back.

I'm in art college and have a very unique and enviable talent however I am too 'stupid' and even hated at my school, otherwise to make a living off it and the talent often fades in and out with mental fog...

It's sad how talented people are often ignored by jealous player haters. People with more functionable lives, do not even bother to associate with people like me.. I believe I am going to end up like Van Gogh unless i find someone to advocate/manage my art, and so far that is, nobody.

That is probably why/how van Gogh ended up only post humously famous, he was too consumed by his mental illness I can imagine he often lived in a haze as well because I believe the way some artists like that paint are actually very similar to how they are experiencing reality ......because the way I make art is how I am experiencing reality ...... and his style was too unique or unaccepted in his society... With him I can relate!! !!

Take electives in computers, math, creative writing, and art. High school isn't near as flexible as college, but you can probably get started.

I earn part of my income from singing, although I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm "earning my living" from it.

My current highschool is rather small and doesn't offer much electives (it has absolutely no computer classes, though I did take an online one over the summer), however next year I'm moving to the under side of the world and it's supposed to be one of the best highschools in the entire world. I'm sure I'll have a chance to take some useful electives there.
