Yeah, I also possess a certain talent for acting. I think the guy who said it was due to how most of us feel like we have to act in day to day life to fit in anyway got it right.

Some aspies are good actors, which makes sense. I wanted to act when I was younger but the acting class available to me was mostly improv which I was terrible at. We didn't study technique or anything (I think that would be helpful). When we had to do monologues & mine were bad there wasn't any helpful constructive criticism, just "do better".

I used to shoot short films with friends & had the same problem. I wrote scripts but no one would follow them. So (since I was also in them) I'd end up trying to keep up with all of their improvised dialogue & either laugh stupidly or get angry that they were making stuff up on the fly.

I know for a fact that I'm a great actor, and I find it to be very unfortunate that I never ended up becoming a well-known actor... not that I ever even got the chance to become that, in any sort of way.

Not that I would've become a very manageable actor, when I would expect everyone to work on my terms. But I would've been a great value to the movie industry, regardless... haha. (Sorry, don't mean to sound full of myself... I just know it's true. >_>)

I actually plan to major in theatre/acting in college. One aspect that I enjoy is that, once I have my lines memorized, I always know what to say, unlike in real life.

i'm slowly building up a resume.... with 2 hollywood movies, a Kid Rock video, some stage plays
I've also done a LOT of singing events around my area.

In both areas I have gotten a WAY TON of positive comments of people who thought I was really good
And by people, I mean not just family/friends but total strangers.

I still do both acting and singing, but right now I'm trying to get published.

I know I am a good actor. My drama teacher last year said that for the outstanding achievement award for drama at prizegiving, it was very close between me and the girl who actually won it, as to who got it. I also love drama, so that's good for me too, I guess. I may go somewhere in drama when I leave school.

I never fit in with the "theater kid" types, but I was the lead in several school plays when I was younger and was really into acting; we're probably good at it because we have to "act" so often to navigate society. Conversely, I don't remember being any good at improv.

I'm most comfortable on stage, and have been acting since I was 5. What I like most is working with a set script - far less pressure than being social. Although I've improved my improv skills considerably over the last few years, it's still very difficult for me.

Currently in rehearsal for a stage production parody of the Matrix trilogy in Louisville, KY.
