What quirks, habits, etc, have NTs pointed out to you?

I couldn't think of anything specific so I asked my mother if she could think of anything and she mentioned the weird noise I make in my throat when my throat bothers me to itch the inside of my throat. When I do that people look at me oddly and if they try to imitate can't seem to.

There is no video. I don't know how to make just an audio file. When I replayed it it sounds like some sort of animal but I'm not sure what.

Oh, I know that sound! I make very similar one when food goes up my sinus passage. I also make clicking sound when I'm recalling information (mouth closed, tongue to palate, inhale through nose while droping tongue, i think is the process)

1. "Tone of voice" my family always tells me I sound rude, even when I don't mean to.
2. "You already said that"
3. "You remember useless stuff"
4. "I was joking"
5. "If we made it sound like a joke, it wouldn't be any fun" People used to tell me they're joking, and I'd ask why they don't make it sound like they were joking. I'd get this as a reply.
6. "You're a crybaby"
7. Everything I do, even if NT's do it too.

1-3 are at home, 4-6 are at school in general, 7 is from one particular girl who likes to bully me and acts like everything I do is stupid.

"Why do you always look so angry?" is a big one.

NTs have also brought up the lack of eye contact thing my whole life, but I've gotten much better at forcing myself to maintain eye contact as much as I'm capable of.

I do this every single day... it can be very awkward when I'm in a situation where laughter is extra inappropriate.

That I:

- Talk too loudly
- Flap my fingers
- Tap my fingers against parts of my body
- Have a strange gait
- Pucker my lips while going to drink out of a glass

Some that I've gotten from multiple sources that have no knowledge of each other and the things that have been asked of me:

*Why do you bump your head against the wall? (Sometimes when frustrated)
*Why don't you talk to people? Why are you so quiet?
*How come you're not in a relationship? (GET OVER IT, people)
*Why don't you dance like everybody else? (At an outdoor blues concert)
*Why do you tap your feet so furiously? (At my parents home while eating AND at work)
*Why do you always look like you're MAD-AT-THE-WORLD?
*Are you sad? You look sad.

I have been told my smiles were fake in the photos
I make funny faces when I am concentrating hard
I shake my hands
I "kiss" the wall
"What's wrong?"
Mom has pointed out my odd body gaits by pushing my head back or showing me how I am sitting or pointing out how I have my legs as I am driving
I talk too fast or too loud
People telling me to sit when I be pacing
I've been asked if I am ret*d
"You don't make sense" "That didn't make any sense" "Which is it?" about things I say
"It's a figure of speech"
"It was a joke"
"Did you tell them that?" "You didn't day that did you?" "Don't tell them that"
"Just like a kid" "Just like a baby"
"It's not funny"
"I'm serious"
I walk fast
"They're not you" "I'm not you"
"You expect everyone to be like you"
I make people laugh for no reason
"I can't even have a normal conversation with you"
"I am always having a one sided conversation with you"
"You're not listening"
"You sure know a lot about_______" (about anything me and everyone else had to learn about or anything everyone is supposed to read about)

I think I come off as eccentric, so people usually just let me do my thing.

I'm sure in the past, people have mentioned a lot of things that I do that are weird, but it's not usually been in a negative way.
The only thing I can think of is that I've been told I wave really creepily when I say hello. D:
I'm trying to fix it.
I watched too many Disney movies as a child and started waving like a Disney princess, wiggling my fingers but not moving my hand back and forth.

When I was working at Sanrio, I sometimes had to wear the Hello Kitty mascot costume. My friends knew it was me inside and not one of my co-workers because I would wave like that. They said I was scaring the children. D:

If you notice some people on the red carpet, especially young pretty models they will do this too, it is to signify youthful exuberance, and is actually quite common...

"Why are you trembling/shaking?" (Anxiety)
"Why are you biting your lip like that?"
"Why are you rocking? Are you ret*d?!"
"Why do you pull such weird faces?"
"What the f**k are you doing bouncing your legs like that?"
"Look me in the eye when I'm talking to you! Are you ignoring me?!"
"Are you ok?" (asked alot by other people, who think I'm upset for some reason.
"What are you looking at?"
"Earth to Kristian, Earth to Kristian!"
"That isn't funny you know"
"You should smile more"

I've had the "it was a joke/I was just joking" thing a lot. I don't know if this was caused by my being bullied so much as a child or if I saw some bullying as worse than it was because of this but I don't think I can't tell the difference between mean and playful teasing or always tell if it's teasing. I always thought the "it was a joke" was just an excuse bullies used to abuse people and not get in trouble.

I've been told to smile more a lot. For a while there when I was reading feminist books I thought it was a sexist thing (one book I enjoyed was called "Reflecting Men At Twice Their Natural Size",) but now I think it probably was because of my flat affect which I remember various therapists noting when I was growing up.

If that person is nice or has never been mean to you, I assume it was playful.

If the person is a jerk and they are not nice to you, I assume they were being mean.

I fidget with pages when I am reading a book..........I did not really know that until someone mentioned it because I am not usually concious of doing that.

As a child I always got told I complained too much and was too sensative......well sensory issues do that, I mean most people do complain if they are in pain.....but a regular light being on in a room is not something that causes most people pain so they just saw my complaints about things like that as me trying to be difficult or whatever. So of course I just felt bad about it and had a preoccupation with trying to fix my flaws all the time.

and that is all that comes to mind at the moment.

Oh god, this opens up a can of worms...
"Why do you walk like that?"
"Why do you run like that?"
"Why do you always look so angry?"
"Why don't you ever smile?"
"Why don't you ever talk?"
"Why do you talk so loud?"
"Were you born an as*hole, or did you work at it?" (this one hurt me worst than anything, since I pride myself on the fact that I at least try to be nice to people)
"Is it really necessary to line everything up on your desk like that?"
"Why are you blinking so much?"
"Why won't you look me in the eye?"
"Why do you keep making that face?"
"Why do you keep fidgeting with that?"

I swear, people are determined to drive me crazy.

I do the same thing too except I know I am doing it. I just feel I have to do something to keep my mind occupied as I read. I will also sniff the pages.

Some people have actually sniffed their books when they see me do it.
I even remember the time one of my teachers bent down and sniffed my textbook.
