I think about death all the time. It's not like "I f*****g hate myself. I should just kill myself. Slight my wrists or overdose on benadryl."

No. It's more like if I were to die right now, in this place, at this point in my life, I'd be okay with that. I haven't accomplished much.

I'm eager to do the things I think about, but If I don't it's like "Hey, your loss world, you should have protected me better."

In other forums they don't even ''know'' what depression is.

Why be suicidal? I know not to be as there is a lot to life no matter what.

Have been suicidal in the past. Nothing gave me pleasure and everyday things became slow and painful. Hard to explain what it's like to someone who has never been deeply depressed. Basically, it gets harder and harder to enjoy things you used to really enjoy, and it doesn't feel like it will ever end.

On the right meds now so starting to enjoy life again.

I've been suicidal before yeah. I attempted suicide twice, once getting myself hospitalized.
I don't know if i'm still depressed, i'm not on meds or having any sort of therapy, but i have a few friends, and i'm doing well on my college course, so things are looking better.

I'm not suicidal. I'm actually happy with my life.

They make me feel less anxious. They also change my mood in other ways, but I don't know how to describe it except that I feel more positive more of the time.

Feeling less anxious means that get more sleep at night. It means that I feel able to go outside and be around other people.

Feeling more positive means that I can enjoy my interests and distract myself from negative thoughts.

They don't solve all my problems, but they make it easier to deal with them.

I wish I wasn't. But it just makes perfect sense. Why isn't there the right to die? It's the f* plastic age of the human animal. What's to do? (rhetorical qns obv)

Isn't simple? In other forums depression may be as common as seeing a monkey in north pole.Let alone 50% being suicidal.

Ok not sure of your point.......I think the majority of people here who say they have depression probably have depression.

Yeah i know it is ridiculous. It's like 99% percent of the population don't have depression and we happened to be in to the almost non existent percentage?
