How do we know you're not lying on your profile where it says you're diagnosed?

I must say I have been known to get in a state when things have changed, but it's more changes in my routine that upset me, I have to take time out to sort it all out in my own way.

NT's kill themselves too. And I can only speak for myself here but as until up to now I've only ever associated with NT's and on the whole I haven't really been treated badly by them, if there's ever been any conflict it's been due to me not really understanding about socialising and authority and conforming and stuff. I don't mind NT's (I didn't even know the term NT till I came on WP). They've been quite hospitable to me and my strange ways.

And as for "what's so great about being an aspie"? Well I don't know, maybe you could tell us.

Even NTs don't like some change, jesus! But I think NTs can adapt to change quicker - or they can deal with change a little better as in their reactions, but my reactions are a little bit different. It's like when they changed the BBC weather site just yesterday, it made me cry with panic and anger because I've been using the same weather site for years and then it all suddenly changed into something completely different what was more harder to use and get used to. It made me so angry why they have to suddenly do that.
I hate it when they go and change websites like that! They did that same sort of thing with the Xbox site last week, and even though I've gotten used to it by now, I was furious at the time.

Whatever, you guys have problems you think that your better than everyone just because your a little smarter than other people. If do find a cure in the future I sure take it, I would be a NT than have autism.
Whoa there, dude. Take a deep breath. Nobody ever said they were better or smarter than the next person. Mind explaining why you posted that?

Uh... what can I say about this? Look, sir, I'm sorry if you feel that way. It must've been terrible for you that you've been feeling bad about yourself. As I've said, no one is alike among us. I know plenty of people (read: in real life) who are worse than I am, and most of them feel that it is part of who they are.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Sadly for you, you opined in the wrong arena. I don't know if you are just provoking the people here or something like that, but clearly, your tirades were indeed offending to most. And I, on my part, don't claim to be smarter than anyone else, including you.

I have lots of trouble with change.....I drop it everywhere, especially when I am buying things with it.

I found £1.20 today, it might not sound a lot to some people but it made my day. :)

That's good to know! At least you got spare change. Let's call it a day, then... :)

I guess none of us supported Obama's 2008 election campaign, har har :?

I get really bad reactions when there is a sudden change to plans. And not even just 'negative' changes, but say I was supposed to meet someone at a certain place, and they change it to a different place (that's just as easy to get to) at the last minute, I'll be very upset.

Or if any of my routines need to be changed, even just for one day, that makes me extremely uncomfortable/reactive.

I freaked out this morning! I check BBC weather every single day to make sure that the weather will be good for my rabbit to play in his run. It's been the same for AGES and suddenly changed with no warning :(
