He has Attention Deficit Disorder not ASD. Regardless of what he has been labelled with, that teacher is out of line and it's a shame that teachers get away with this all the time.

I don't mean to be rude or insensitive to the issue at hand. But many aspie's, such as myself have been dealing with that attitude from our parents for a while.

Oh, this reminds me so much of something that happened in one of my college classes! I had one instructor that kept using this word over and over during each lecture and it was kind of annoying but I couldn't tell if it had anything to do with me or not, so I bought a small tape recorder into class with me and put it on my desk and pushed record. It was right there in plain sight, the instructor could see it no problem. The college had no ban on taping classes. From that day on I never heard him say the dubious word again. Was it a coincidence, or was that word used to make me feel uncomfortable? It could be circumstantial but thanks to recording him I no longer cringed each class listening to the tripe.
I still don't know for sure if it had anything to do with me but he stopped using the word the moment he saw the tape recorder on my desk and the sardonic grin on my face.

In my town and State there is a no bullying law and the schools I went to had ZERO tolerance for any bullying by anyone. However I do remeber being bullied by a principal when I was in elementary school. I was ohh say in about 1st grade and was doing kid stuff and the principal thought I couldn't tell the difference between Reality and Fiction and she persisted and persisted untill my mother had to tell me all the things your parents tell you about the holidays like easter and christmas at the age of 7. I mean come on now. My nephew is 11 and we still haven't told him. I (being in Elementary school) was blissfully ignorant to the tauntings and the harassment of the Principal at the time untill my mother told me about it when I was older.

That Mick Avory-like girl is a lot more attractive than her double chin teacher. She will always be more attractive. She should have pushed the teacher onto the treadmill.

As for teacher bullies...I'm fairly sure they were bullies before they entered the teaching profession, and I actually recall the example of one bully in my university days, who went on to become a teacher. He would harass me whenever we crossed paths typically off-campus at pubs or house parties where he'd always seem to show up. Who knows if he continued the same behaviour to the same extent as a teacher, but if past behaviour is the best indicator of current behaviour, he probably still let his hatred towards Aspies show.
