I think my sense of humour is pretty good, I get most mainstream comedy even if I think it's stupid. The things I find the funniest have to do with words, wording, grammar and words that have more than one meaning. It always cracks me up on the news when they say "The suspect turned himself into police" I have a vision of a guy turning into a cop.....nevermind, not so fuuny now that I've written it down.

I get those sometimes. In that Temple Grandin movie there's a scene where someone mentions "animal husbandry," and they flash a visual of what she's imagining, and it's 2 cows in wedding regalia being married. So, she's cracking up at that and there are other people around looking around like, '"what's she laughing at?"

My favorite is:

"Why can't Helen Keller drive? Because she's a woman."

What's really funny is that most of the people who pretend to be offended by this joke are men, while women usually love it.

Really dry and sarcastic and ironic. Offensive sometimes. Who else gets really pissed off by easily offended people?

Not offending. Just not funny. I like blonde jokes better.

Sarcastic, dark, and weird. I can also make lame puns.

This can be another thing that makes me doubt I have an ASD. When it comes to facial expressions and messing around with vocal tones I can twist my voice around a lot and pull all sorts of faces (usually somewhat over exaggerated when humour is involved).

At other times my humour can be somewhat sarcastic. I was always being told that sarcasm is apparently the lowest form of wit, but it amused me so... lol.

Lol, I used to get to that from my family - although I thought they were saying that Sarcasm was the lowest form of 'what',

It was like...

Them "Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit"

Me thinking they were asking me what it was the lowest form of replied "I don't know"

They "wit"

me "what?"

them "wit"

me "whaaaat?"

them "wit"

me annoyed screams "aaaAAAAAAAH"

Eventually they worked out I just didn't understand that it was "wit" not "what"...

I can laugh now about it.

There was also a satirical "journal article" that I wrote many years for a site about "neurotypical syndrome."

That just made me laugh out loud, nice.

I've always been good at making people laugh through quick punchline responses and ribbing, but in terms of what I personally find most hilarious, it's often the most seemingly innocuous part of something. For example, my friend and I like to ask each other funny "would you rather..." scenarios. One of the recent scenarios pitched was the idea of going on the phone intercom at work and saying, "Attention, hello? Yeah okay. [insert something really outlandish and ridiculous here that isn't worth repeating]." Even though the part most people who heard us discussing this found hilarious was saying the really outlandish/scandalous thing, I could not stop laughing at the idea of someone starting out an intercom page with, "Attention, hello? Yeah okay." Even now I want to crack up all over again because the "yeah okay" is just so ridiculous to me. Most people don't understand my true sense of humor, and neither do I for that matter! Ha.

Blunt, sarcastic, and very, very dry.
