I believe that we still are part and parcel of nature with its obligation and imperatives, We are still dominated by instincts, self survival, some form of solidarity within the species and beyond the species, sexual attraction, rhythm, what we call love and we rarely reach in its good epiphanies, protection of the offspring, when there is one, or for other people offspring. We instinctively give precedence to children, kids and cubs.
Technique, which is the malady of humankind, facilitates enormously some drives: aggression, offence, hoarding. As it does this it hampers and erases face to face communication, gentle touching each other, natural rhythms, vital connection with our environment.

No way back from this, no luddism but we should aware of where all this will take us.
