I like my futon but I spend most of my time sitting in my computer chair (which is actually a padded folding chair). I sit on my futon to watch movies on my computer, however.

Anyway, since there (as far as I have read) is no treatment for autistic personality traits, what is the peril?
I had definite autistic personality traits, which I successfully treated myself.

One of the biggest mistakes of my life was, after finding out I had a genius IQ, not trying things I might fail at, for fear that people might think I was a failure. I eventually threw that off, and now embrace mistakes, so long as I can learn from them.

My first step was to buy and mechanically apply Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People. After several years of forcing myself to apply those techniques, I reached a point where I habitually applied them, and enjoyed doing do.

Another thing I did was to force myself to do things differently, just for the sake of doing it differently.

Yeah dude, we get it. Every single person who thinks they might have it before a doctor says so is just a giant poser who delights in spreading a warped view of ASDs among the general public.

Honestly, I don't know why you bother continuing to post in these threads. I doubt there is a single member here who doesn't already know your opinion on self-diagnosis.

Of course there is no substitution for a professional diagnosis. I would go for one except I think I am actually quite happy :). In any case, I feel more confident in my self diagnosis and I hope to contribute here in the future, thanks for reading.

Its actually quite rudimentary, but threads like this appear regularly on WP to coerce members to spend$$$$ ....its just most people are denied good quality information so quacks can make money from your ignorance...

Follow the money, you will find those supporting these financial institutions and instilling their coercion to spend $$$ on quacks

Would you like fries with that?

I am a big fan of personal responsibility and self-improvement. I have lost a lot of time and money on "professionals" who contributed little or nothing. Sure, professionals can be a life saver in critical situations, but otherwise I often progress faster on my own.
