Speaking of 111's, here's a little number thing that's cool. If you take the last 2 digits of the year of your birth and add it to your present age, you will always get 111.
my son:98+13=111
my mother: 23+88=111
my sister: 56+55=111
my brother: 59+52=111
Except for people who have already had their birthday this year. For instance, someone born on January 3 1998 would be 14, and 98 + 14 = 112.
It's just subtraction. The current year minus 1900 is equivalent to the number of years between 1900 and the year that you were born plus the number of years after you were born. For 2011 it would always equal 111, for 2012 it will always equal 2012, for 2013 it will always equal 113, et cetera.
If someone were to say that if you take the last four digits of your birth year and add your current age you will always get the last four digits of the current year(or the previous year if you haven't had your birthday yet this year) it seems less interesting.
