My interests tend to tie into each other, or at least I can make it that way. My longest obsession is books - collecting them and reading them. I go through obsessions on a short term basis too though, but I can usually add them into the book collecting/reading and make them fit that way (e.g. folklore, mythology, Harry Potter - all of which are semi-long term, death, the paranormal, WW2 ect).

Quantum physics, nuclear physics, chemistry: all of the other obsessions come and go. Electronics, however is here to stay. Right now my new favorite is steam engines.
