when i see somebody else console a hurting human being at a time and place where i can only look ashamed, stupid, reticent and seemingly cold-blooded off from a distance, it makes me feel like a cheap machine copy of a real human being. :hmph: :(

Aspies are no more likely to be bad people than any NT person. However, our actions can be more difficult to interpret than those of NTs.

But people are complex individuals. I've had my moments of pettiness. I have taken pleasure in emotionally dismantling someone with spoken words who I felt had wronged me. But I've also helped friends out of tight spots, try to be a good husband, and have fostered homeless pets.

Classifying people can be a difficult thing to do.
