Well, I guess I don't really count in these.

I was forced to learn a lot of things by myself when I was two years old. I had to take care of myself and my brother from the time I was two and a half. I was five years old when my sister was born, and then I had to take care of her too. I had to learn to do all those things because nobody else would. I had to bathe myself and my siblings. I had to get all of us to bed and get dressed in the morning. I never really learned to do those things correctly, though. After observing other people, I know that I don't hold the cutlery correctly, and I do most things like that different from other people because I was never taught those things and had to find some way to do them.

I can't remember learning to feed myself, but I know I could do it at 3. There are photos of me at that age feeding myself.

Dressing myself was a bit delayed though, didn't really do it until I was 8. I know that sounds bad, but I have dyspraxia.

I arrived to this topic pretty late ;)

I stopped being spoonfed at around age 3 1/2, but that was only because I had to be independent before kindy.
I couldn't dress myself until age 8 or 9, and again, that was because I had to change out of my pe uniform alone at school.
I couldnt shower until I was 9 or 10
I also couldn't tie my shoes until age 10, and I still suck at it.

I was about 16 months when I stopped being spoon-fed. I can't remember what age I was when I learnt to dress myself. I think I was around average, as my motor skills development seemed average.

EDIT: I remember first eating with a knife and fork when I was 6 (before then I preferred eating with a spoon). But the reason why I suddenly changed to eating with a knife and fork was because my older brother had invited his friend round for tea and I admired this friend of his, and so I wanted to feel grown up by eating my dinner with a knife and fork. And ever since that day I have always used a knife and fork (except for when eating spoon-appropriate foods of course, but you get what I mean).
