Driveing & talking to a passenger at the same time

I don't know about this.....I'm not allowed to talk to my bus-driver while he's driving....
I suppose the reason is; weather someone has autism/aspergers or not, the role of a driver of a PSV must ensure everyones safety whilst driving, I think everyone has variable abilities on ability to concetrate whilst talking whilst driving.
I once had a driving role for transportation of adults with learning difficulties to day centres & places of interest outside of local area.
, The guide/ care supervisor would often try & make conversation whilst I was driving, I had to ignore her to an extent, & I think she was a little offended at this & I've a feeling she regarded me as being a bit of an ignorant b@stard !

I never took on above driving role on a permanant basis, as also, with the greatest of respect to my passengers, they themselves could be quite distracting sometimes for one reason or another.
