Yes, I recommend that anyone with Asperger's should seriously consider the Open University as an alternative to mainstraim universities.

I myself couldn't cope with mainstream uni. Despite getting top A-level grades (and a Special Level grade), I wasn't prepared for the social side of uni life. Couldn't get on with other students or lecturers. The experience made me very depressed.

Now I am doing an OU physics degree, and will, hopefully, gain a BSc Hons in Physical Science next year.
