And eeeek... I really wanna say what it is but she's made me feel so embarrassed about it. And other people too. Let's just say it's a new movie that people seem to either love or hate.
Is it Twilight?
Bwuh, no > < Eh I'll just tell you.
It's The Lorax, the animated film adaption of the Dr. Seuss book?
And I suppose I'll put a list of my obsessions too, but they don't go yearly. They switch on and off and some with last months while others last years. So here's just a plain old list of what I have obsessed over in the past, in no particular order. * = Reoccuring.
- Cats (musical) *
- Banjo Kazooie (mostly Tooie) *
- I, Robot
- Harry Potter movies (and Daniel Radcliffe)
- Naruto *
- Neopets
- Pokemon *
- Whose Line Is It Anyway
- Conjoined Twins & Deformities *
- Glee
And currently, The Lorax, Homestuck, and Ratchet & Clank*.
There are definitely more, but I get obsessions so easily.
I haven't seen the Lorax, but I think I've seen ads for it. I read my kids a lot of Dr Seusse books but I don't remember the Lorax in particular. I haven't seen any of the other shows you mention except I have seen some of the HP movies. I really only liked the first one. I do remember Neopets, back in the 90s when my oldest son had one. Pokemon, God yes I remember it. My son was way into it (the older one) and I remember the first time I saw it, the animation looked so wierd but I couldn't put my finger on it. Pokemon was like the Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles to me I guess. The kids loved it, but the parents couldn't stand it.
I've seen "Whose Line" before, a few times. It's pretty funny. I like Drew Carry (sp?) and liked his show when it was on. I also like that black guy on Whose Line. I have only see him in one other thing, and he played Barny's adopted brother in How I Met Your Mother. He's exactly like Barny in every way except he's black and gay.
I saw this one set of Siamese twins on a talk show. They were girls joined at the head. I wonder if they are still alive. From what they said on the show, when one dies, the other will die within a few minutes or so and it can't be helped.
I had assumed it was Twilight because that was hugely popular for a long time, and after the movies started coming out, people started making fun of it. I didn't care for the movies that much either, although I did like the books. My daughter talked me into reading them, but she won't read the vampire books that I like by Anne Rice.
