Justice obsession?

I have always had a sensitivity to justice and fairness; to the point of annoying some people. I have learned over the last 5 decades that life isn't fair, and neither are people, and most people really don't care about it.
I do what I can to treat people more fairly than normal people are capable of, even if this means shorting or hurting my situation. I don't like to see someone treated unfairly, ever. To stay out of trouble, I have learned to just laugh at other people when they screw someone and then get upset when they get called on it.
