Probably nothing, but I want to check if there is any correlation between the score and neurodiversity.

Reaction Time Standard Deviation: 18.13 ms

Mean Reaction Time: 239.9 ms

Is this good or bad?

I actually thought I was doing it rather quickly. Oops! I think my biggest issue with this type of processing is the anxiety caused by the anticipation. I had to start over once because I got so anxious I hit the button when the yellow wasn't there.

EDIT: I did it a second time, with the following results:

RTSD: 78 ms

MRT: 404 ms

So, still in the same category for the poll. While I did it faster this time, I literally jumped every time the yellow popped up. haha.

RT: 262.3
SD: 18.88

I just want to say a few things about this test:

The only issue that I have with it is the lack time buffer between appearances of the square. Sometimes it would reappear so fast after pushing enter for the previous one that I didn't have time to fully release the enter button after pushing it for the previous button. There should be at least a 750-1000 ms limit between squares.

The other issue with online versions of this test is that they depend on internet connection. When you are dealing with sub 500 ms reaction times connection latency will have a significant impact on the time. There is no simple way to account for latency with a widely geographically scattered test population.

Third, age is a large factor in RT. There should be age brackets.

I've seen this test before in different forms and have seen data from a pool of thousands of participants. IIRC the mean RT for the sample was 240 ms. I don't remember what the mean SD was. I'm fairly certain that the sample was representative of the general population in terms of proportion of NT to non NT.

I retook the test after a short nap and my RTSD was very different from the first one.

I took it again. I did slightly better, but there's really not a big difference between the scores. My reaction time is uncommonly slow. I already knew that about myself.
