scored 40, although they really need to come up with a test that isn't just asking about the traits of aspergers/autism. As long as you know the general diagnosis I'm sure you could fake the test fairly easily (it would be interesting to get some NTs to try and answer as if they had AS, bet they'd manage to score highly).

Your score: 36
0 - 10 = low
11 - 22 = average (most women score about 15 and most men score about 17)
23 - 31 = above average
32 - 50 is very high (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 35)
50 is maximum

I would've scored a little higher if some questions were a bit more specific or worded different. For the fiction one, I do enjoy reading fiction, but it's hard for me to find a fictional book that really grabs my attention, and so I read more non-fictional (well, scientific) books than I do fictional books.

I agree that it wasn't a very good test, at least not for Asperger's Syndrome.

I didn't find it in depth. There's a lot more questions that you should be asking.

The AQ test is one of the most respected and widely used screening tools for autism. It is very accurate. Research has shown it picks up 80% of adults with autism and 90% of adolescents with false positives being 2% and 0% respectively.

Don't take these tests too seriously - Baron-Cohen himself says in his book that the 'typical' results are only averages, and many men and women differ in their scores.

You guys actually gone all way back to the homepage and read it all?

male-female test link on the left. I would also say hes wrong about them, been male & female.
