Being called by your real name

I hate it when I hear my real name. It has three syllables to it, and people usually shorten it or make up a nickname. When people call me by my real name, it's usually because they're mad and want to get my attention. I particularly hate seeing my name written out. I was always in trouble at school, and I had one teacher who would write your name on the blackboard in the 'detention cloud' for everyone to see. I'd have to stare at it ALL DAY. Hated it.

I do not like my name much I don't know why. My real name is joe but I want my name changed to Max badly

Wow so its not just me who has a special interest in names.

Yeah anyways i actually dont like to think about my own first name much and have an even harder time calling someone else by the same name as me.

I also find that if a person has a very intersting last name, especially if it starts with S i will call them by it... to their face usually without their permission. and one friend is now so used to me calling her by her last name, that if i call her by her 1st name she starts to worry about me.
