I actually do, well, not so much I know I'm making eye contact, but I know my eye contact in the dream isn't abnormal compared to other people's eye contact.

I do make some eye contact in dreams, more than in real life... if a have a vivid dream of a person, i can often recall their eye colour, in real life I don't notice eye colour or make eye contact much at all.

Only once that I can remember. In a dream I was in a cafeteria and I looked across a table up at a man with dark hair and a beard. His eyes caught mine and they were glaring and mean. It was so scary that I woke up at that moment.

The day before I had that dream, I had been practicing eye contact by watching TV and looking into the eyes of the people on TV. I guess that's what gave me the nightmare.

I often am aware of all of my surroundings at once within a dream--directing my gaze in any particular place isn't really necessary.

If I look at anything too long in a dream, it starts to shift and change -- and that includes eye contact. If I look into a dream character's eyes for too long, their pupils usually turn solid black and I get scared and wake up, worrying that something evil is happening in my dream.

Nope. I can't even remember people's faces in my dreams.

My dreams are often similar to movies too, except that they always are like lose memories rather than sensory input. Hence I neither hear, nor smell, nor see things in dreams, I just remember them similar to as if I had at some point, but not really that either actually, it is like an entirely different program running in my head. I can only remember people in general visually by coincidence over time, so no faces in dreams either.
