I don't have sensitivity to sound like a lot of people, but I'm very sensitive to some specific kinds of touch. I'll post my list, and I'm super curious what unusual, super specific things bother other people!
- Powdery things. Flour, sand, dust, especially on my hands. I have to wash my hands a lot because I'm really sensitive to just the regular dust and grime that gets on my hands from going about the world, and then they get dry from the soap, so I have to moisturize them, and then dust sticks to them, and then it's just a vicious cycle. Trying to get the sand off my feet at the beach, I end up standing at the shore and rinsing it off, and trying to put my sandal on and put my foot down without getting sand on it again, but it never works, and I kind of look like when a cat is in the snow and keeps shaking all the snow off it's feet, but then stepping right back in the snow. Baking just makes me flip out all the time.
- Body hair. It bugs me so hard when my shirt sleeves rub my arm hair around, I end up waxing it off. Way more comfortable, everything feels a lot softer. Don't need Downy.
These. I hate powdery things and didn't know it was a sensory thing until I read this. I hate it. I've only gotta dust my TV unit and I feel absolutely horrible afterwards
I hate hot weather and I hate unwanted noise. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head but I know there are others.
