I got a 22, right at the bottom of normal. I "cheated" though and spent far too long thinking it over. A 10 second flash test would have given completely different results. In real-life facial expressions are fleeting.

Only test where I wasn't in the aspie range. Not sure how I scored so high.

People are actually supposed to get better results if they go with their initial thought rather than taking time over it. Actually I'd be interested to see if this is true of both Aspies and NTs.

I got 32/34.

30/36. Fairly good I think? Interestingly, ALL the ones I got wrong were women..

That's why I did it twice. I waited a few days to a week between tests. The first was with a lot of analysis and I got a 22. The second was with my gut reaction and I got a 17. I was actually surprised at how bad I did since I was expecting it to disprove my Asperger's hypothesis but all it did was reinforce it.

It's been a while since I took it, but I remember two things. I did better than I thought I would, most likely because I could study the eyes a bit before answering. I also took it more than once and got better each time. Hahaha!

Taking the test made me think about how I watch people's mouths during conversations rather than look at their eyes. I've been trying to work on this a bit, just to appease the masses, really. I started wondering what the big deal is, looking into someone's eyes or not. Maybe in some cultures, looking at someone's mouth is the socially acceptable form of communication. As long as I'm near the eyes, who does it hurt?

I got a 22...but I thought I was going to do a lot worse! I feel like I didn't know any of them!

This test didn't feature in my diagnostic process. I once did it online and got about 75% right.

I think it's a fundamentally flawed test. I've never had a problem looking at photos and drawings of people, and have learned how to interpret expressions in images.

If I had to tell the expressions of a real person in the same room I think I would have found it much more challenging.
