That's not an aspie thing, everyone feels something in the throat while cleaning their ears, they are connected somehow.

This. When cleaning mine I get a cough reflex. I think what people are discussing here isn't so much sensory issues as to do with reflexes and maybe in some cases with meridians and pressure points. Read a little about acupuncture or acupressure, and you'll understand what I mean. Everyone experiences this.

If I wear hearing protection (when at the range), I lose sensation of my hands and cannot locate them. This is why I rarely use hearing protection. When wearing headphones, I lose much tactile sensation, but oddly enough, that doesn't occur when listen to music without headphones.
