Could this be an aspie trait?
My father (AS) became so dependent on my mother that he never carried more than a couple dollars on him because he said he didn't distinguish the colors and numbers so he had no idea about money. But then when he had to, even though he was decades older, he did distinguish them.
I can imagine that any abusive man you place a restraining order on, if given the chance, will reproach till he's blue in the face. The thing is usually one doesn't even let them near enough to make any complaints or retaliate for one's placing boundaries. That's the idea of a restraining order. I can only imagine what my ex husband would say if I gave him the opportunity.
You deserve someone nicer, aspie or not.
