I'm a pure obsessional. I have had OCD symptoms since age 3. Confessing compulsions have always been my most intense symptom. My OCD became extremely severe and full-blown at age 11 1/2. That is when I began having classic pure obsessional symptoms, such as the actual "disturbing images" flashing through my head. I no doubt qualified for a diagnosis from age 3 onwards, but 11 1/2 is when the OCD became particularly problematic.

(You know, it kinda feels so stupid when I list off the things I have been diagnosed with, and they're all fairly accurate due to the lines being fairly easy to distinguish: ASD, OCD, Schizophrenia, had Panic Disorder, PTSD, and...GAD. It's joke.)

My OCD is of the basic, get obsession, do compulsion to relieve anxiety of obsession, until said compulsion starts to get more and more frequent and your world starts shrinking and shrinking till you can't leave your bedroom. Good that CBT and exposure therapy works on it, otherwise I reckon it'd be the worst out of the lot by far.
