I used to think of what I had was a disease; no more. It's a little personality quirk of mine that I have. I am unique, in my own special way. We all are.

Of course, all people with autism are different. So is everyone else, with or without a disability.

Well, you all need to meet the same criteria for the same disorder.

Personality defines how you deal with the symptoms, and in that way, people are different; though people will still fall into categories. Human behavior is fairly rigid and not all that unique for each person.

Do you have problems with eye contact?

Do you find it easy to make friends?

Do you have many friends?

Do you work? If so doing what?

Have you actually been diagnosed with Aspergers?

People who say they lie a lot set off alarm bells in my head as the average person with Aspergers doesn't lie for the very fact they find it hard to focus on more than one thing at a time ie it's too much like hard work to lie and keep track of all the threads necessary to lie convincingly. To lie pathologically indicates a far more flexible mind ie a non-AS type mind.
