I eat mostly the same things day-in, day-out. Also, at any given restaurant I will order the same thing or if I feel especially adventurous, a small variation on it. I will listen to the same song at least once a day for about five or six weeks max if I really like it. My most recent anthem was Sylar's Theme from the Heroes soundtrack. I was also obsessed with mechanical clocks and liked the sound of one ticking in the background of the song.

I love repetition.

I can also do rounds that work off a variation of a repetition, such as 99 bottles of beer (or other item) on the wall all the way through and still give an encore performance.

I'll watch the same movie over and over for months. I watched Fight Club every day for almost a year. Surf's up for several months. How to Train Your Dragon still gives me goosebumps after countless repeat viewings. Peaceful Warrior. The Thing (1982).

I listen to Moby while I sleep, have done that for years. I could eat quesadillas forever, have had them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for weeks at a time.

I wear the same stuff over and over. Polo and shorts year round, except at weddings and funerals; then I'll get the pants out.

YouTube is a great way to get a repeat fix of a certain song or a scene. Yep, you're totally normal, for one of us.

That's why I listen to my music on headphones. I'm always listening to the same songs over and over again. It annoys my mom very much. She's always like, 'it's the exact same thing over again!'. I also watch the same episodes on my dvds over and over again. Sometimes even not just the whole episodes, but also a couple of scenes.

I get bored of music very quickly, because it's main purpose in my life is to make my blood rush. But I will watch movies many times, as well as television shows.

Is it surprising that I hate radio, after me saying that?

Flying missions to the Moon never get old or even just simply docking with the ISS, or just launching into orbit, it is all very relaxing for me.

I love repeating too. It happens about once a month for songs and once a year for movies that I get obsessed with them and can repeat them over and over again without getting bored (I've watched the same movie 5 times in a day once).

Dear Muff,

Have a look at some of the games threads in the Off the Wall forums over there, and you will see at a glance that you have joined the Great Repeaters' Society.

I love watching films over and over again, especially ones that are time travel related, but then suddenly the film changes. I did listen repetitively to music when I was younger.

My current thing is to listen (not watch) to the Doctor Who episode Utopia with headphones in bed, almost every night, it is relaxing and I either fall asleep somewhere near the end or quickly when it is finished. Probably know it almost word for word.

Gretchen Ross (Donnie Darko Soundtrack) has >8000 listens from less than a year period a while back, ha...I don't know why, but I just got stuck on that song. To be fair, it's only a minute long but it felt like I listened to it every waking hour of every day for an entire summer. Other repetitious things, like practicing guitar scales to a metronome can vary from being incredibly absorbing, easily consuming hours and hours of my day, to incredibly frustrating and not worth more than a few seconds of fiddling before I feel like I 'just don't have it' that particular day. I remember, as a child, I used to come home from school every day for around one school year and immediately put on Star Wars: Return of the Jedi JUST to watch the amazing AT-ST vs. Ewok battle.
