Exactly. :thumleft: I do use meters, but I trust my ears far more. Ears are for hearing something is not right. Meters are to help you figure out what's wrong, but they don't tell all. If the track sounds great, it really doesn't matter a whole lot what the meters supposedly tell you.

If your hearing sucks, you're screwed. so TURN DOWN THOSE HEADPHONES AND MONITORS!! !

It's not noise on adverts that annoy me - it's the noisy TV shows like X-Factor, Britain's got Talent, Strictly Come Dancing, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and all of those. Gah! They do my head in!! !

(shudders)

Then why watch them? Those programmes are horrible anyway in my opinion - if there is a personal hell, mine would be sitting is a room being forced to watch those television programmes all day.

I never watch them, they just suddenly come on and I have to change the channel over. It's worse when I'm a guest at someone else's house at a week-end evening and they happen to love all these frantic cheering shows, so I've got to sit there and listen to it.

I hate You've Been Framed aswell, I think it's stupid and people who watch it always sort of laugh delibrately, even if they don't think it's funny, and it distracts them while you're trying to have a conversation with them. It suddenly came on tonight (it's not normally on Fridays) and I can't stand that s**t so I had to come out of the room because nobody wanted to turn it off. Now I'm missing out on my family being here. :(
