All the time. But at least now I know I do it, and take steps to back away, mentally, from it when I can. It is a constant struggle.

God yes. For me, the anxiety is worse than the autism most of the time.

Um...how about a definition?

Catastrophizing is the habit of automatically assuming a "worst case scenario" and inappropriately characterizing minor or moderate problems or issues as catastrophic events.

Btw, it is very common for people with personal trauma histories to catastrophize.

Frequently. I agree with Sagroth and krazykat, my anxiety is way more of a problem than any other aspect of my mental state.
