...and can you imagine, if all the Aspies set up in one big city together how many accidents there would be! We'd all be permanently crashing into one another and falling over LOL.

I am clumsy also. I have had too many embarrassing moments in grocery stores when things like cartons of milk or jars seem to fly out of my hands and end up broken on the floor. I bump into things and loose my balance easily. When I am standing still I wiggle my toes to keep my balance. I have stabbed myself in the mouth with dinner forks.
I have read that a lot of stimming, like repetitive hand movements and rocking and such may be an automatic unconscious reaction to keep track of where your body and limbs are in space as well as to keep your balance and regulate other senses. That makes sense to me.

I have extremely tidy handwriting and was fond of drawing as a child, but my PE skills are atrocious and I relate to NVLD/dyspraxia in ways.

...and the fist-fights that could potentially ensue. 8O

Hopefully they would put those nice corner protectors on their walls and make something similar for furniture.

Makes sense to me too. When I am in class I try SO hard to keep still and not draw attention to myself. I have to sit against a wall...preferably in a corner if I can manage it. I am comforted by being able to touch the structure of the room until I can act like me again.
