I've only had four car accidents and they were all because of snow.
1. I was driving my stepfather to a medical appointment, lost traction, and slammed into a taxi.
2. I was driving a taxi which slammed into a pole and the undercarriage got destroyed on the concrete pedestal of the post.
3. I was driving a taxi which went off a cliff then got caught between two trees. The car had to be towed up.
4. I was driving a taxi which slammed into a light pole. When I got out of the car the entire power lines on the block was swaying back and forth from the crash.

i should also mention I hate skiers. They (especially british amateurs) epitomise middle class buffoonery and squander.

why would someone go to a country like france, germany or austria, rich with art, culture, history and heritage only to spend the 2 weeks risking life and limb, sliding down a hill and spending most of the time on your ass? Its the height of ignorance.

Because it's fun.

apparently so is extreme cliff diving and untethered mountain climbing.

Why not give that a go as well?

I can't think of why not.

If you are a amateur skier, I wholeheartedly encourage you.

Especially if you're a brit with a turtleneck sweater and a gravel driveway with the little lights up the side.

I don't understand. What do cliff diving, mountain climbing, and turtlenecks have to do with amateur skiing?

Never mind. It was for the humour of those who understood it first time.

I enjoy it when it snows, because it makes everything pretty and everything seems more quiet in the snow.

Better snow than heat. I'm not about to go out and play in it, though.

I like snow, I certainly prefer snow to rain. Though I do not like to have to shovel it.

It's not wet if it's fresh snow and that it is cold. Snow can be very dry in the cold.

My opinion on it has varied back and forth throughout my life. I live in Canada and have always had to deal with it, and a lot of it, every year. As a kid I loved it. If enough snow fell overnight it would completely transform the outdoor environment. You can sled and ski on it, burrow tunnels through it, assault you siblings with tightly packed balls of it, eat it even though I was told I shouldn't do that. As I grew older, starting around teenage years, I began to be aggravated by the inconvenience it causes to transportation. Hated having to shovel it. Hated, and feared, driving in it. That continued until just recently. In the last couple years, and especially in the last year since I started taking meds for my OCD and depression, snow and I are becoming friends again. I started skiing again. I bought snow tires for my car to help me feel safer. And they do.

I love snow! I'm always happy when it's snowing outside, the only downside is if it starts melting and freezes again making everthing slippery or when when you have to shovel it.
It's only annoying when the sun is shining bright and the snow reflects all the light because then I have to squint so I can see properly.

I love snow. I love to look at it. I love to lay in it. I love to shovel it. I love to burrow in it. I love snow angels, and sledding, and snow ice cream. I love snow so much, I don't even mind driving in it. If it's too bad for me to drive in, no one should be out on the road; unless someone's dying, the world can just live with me staying home.

I LOVE snow. It is my favorite form of precipitation.

We haven't had enough snow this winter.

I love snow, but I hate being snowed in.

I haven't done any of the fun things I used to do in snow in ages, but part of that is due to chronic pain (I love cold, but the mildest of frostbite causes severe pain).

I really love snowy areas at night. The lighting is different than is typical and it just looks good to me.
