I don't tell jokes on purpose. I don't know any. I do say things that make people laugh.

Intelligent humour yes, the rest no.

I joke a lot less than most people because I find that most jokes people tell aren't funny.

I'll be honest--unless I'm with close family or friends, I hate joking around.

ed wynn [RIP] said [paraphrased] that a funny person is NOT one who says funny things, but one who says things funny.

I can identify with a number of things different people have said so far in this thread.
I only joke spontaneously, when I'm comfortable, with a deadpan presentation (all three together). I also tend to abruptly switch between joking and being completely serious without warning.

Although when I do, people do often laugh.

I laugh and joke a lot. It's just that most people can't understand my sense of humor, and they can't realize I'm joking.
I'm known among people as the one who "rarely takes things seriously". I actually take things seriously, it's just that the fact I often smile and laugh tricks people into thinking I don't often take things seriously.

I'm HFA and i really have no sense of humor whatsoever.
Things i do laugh at are usually silly things like the time me and my wife tried to ride a razor scooter and it was crappy yet so funny.

I think I'm the funniest person I ever met, and I joke in many ways. Often in the way that the person in front of me doesn't find funny. So sarcasm for an intellect, intellectual humour for um, uneducated country bumpkins, crass humour for um, the sophisticated.
errrrrrrrrr..............starting to put the pieces together............ 8O

I seem to have a dark, morbid sense of humor and tend to use a lot of sarcasm (especially to hide insults)... It took me a while to start figuring out certain types of humor, and even then there are a lot of jokes I just don't find funny. I loved watching Laurel and Hardy, but it seemed so serious to me and made me cry.
I also love wordplay humor.

I am in the same boat as most who have posted. I'm usually more serious I guess, but I do have a sense of humor. The thing is, My sense of humor is not really understood by most; Which is really no surprise. I tend to joke mostly to myself or in my head. If you were to ask people who "think" they know me, they would say I'm very serious and not particularly funny, But I guess that's the biggest joke of them all.

I find it very difficult when I make a very elaborate joke and no one really gets it, but some NT makes a very "dry" joke and He/She is the funniest person in the world. I just don't understand. Or when I make a joke and someone pretty much states the exact same thing but somehow slightly different, and they get all the laughs; Kinda frustrating. Oh well, it happens I guess.
