I got banned off websleuths they were so clicky it was horrible.
They actually banned me for no reason, and they track IPS
My gf was a member and the owner of the site whose paranoid actually called our house so we could prove we were 2 different people.
That site was so interesting especially if you like true crime etc yet a lot of people on there had these cliques (i was not part of a clique)
and it seemed half the site was set up to create intentional debates/arguments of difference in opinion.
I am glad to be banned, half of real Law Enforcement thinks that site is a joke as they meddle and get in the way of cases.

Your loss, negligible as the difference might be.
I am curious as to the implication of the closing rhetoric however. Something you picked up from interacting with mundies, I take it.

Something I picked up from realizing some people argue for the sake of arguing. Been guilty of it myself.

Understanding is my cause... including the proliferation thereof.

There have been times where I get fired up and angry and sometimes get drawn into trollish behavior because of it othertimes I do something stupid and I get a good warning just sometimes I wonder why I wasnt suspended for it at times. I do feel guilty after getting warned though.

I think a lot of my problens stem from the fact that I have a database of character 'types' in my head that is very detailed as regards the different types of human behaviour. I have a sub database for people types on discussion forums and can often spot a particular type and they often do exhibit predictable behaviour in the way they post. Depending on how unpleasant I find their behaviour I will either move onto another thread, ignore them or fire a shot across their bows. There's a bad/immature side of me that likes to wind up arrogant and unpleasant people I'm afraid  It's more likely to come out if I'm in a bad mood and depends on how well they can rationalise the point they're making.

One thing I cannot abide is people who come onto a thread and say things like 'God! is this thread still going?!', as if there's no way anyone should have been getting anything remotely interesting or entertaining out of any thread without their personal presence or say-so! So what if a thread goes on for the next fifty million years if people are getting something out of it??!
Arrrrrrrrrrgh! That annoys me so much!

Online, I am usually an agent of cheerful chaos... a troll that trolls trolls. I don't get banned usually because I am never the one that starts it, nor do I get all heated up. I just sit there and feed the trolls :3

This is me.
I try to get along with everyone and just go with the flow on forums, but I do get tired of a subject that I've immersed myself in-including joining forums- and will just leave.

I've been banned from a lot of different blogs and facebook pages that focus on "natural" childbirth, only because I like proven facts and science and despise people who care more about the experience than the life of their child.
Most other places seem to tolerate me fairly well.

Theyre more fond of spirituality mumbo jumbo than science and logic.

I was banned from the Evidence of Harm listserv for trying to tell them how hurtful their comments are to autistic people.

Hello.

I have never used other forums before because I don't think I'm up to the attacks by other people. If you start fighting, then you get banned. In this forum I try not offend others because I'm too scared of attacks by them and because I'd rather enjoy the discussions. Not that I hold back my opinions. Still there have been some (very few actually) who were unnecessarily sarcastic or negative. I simply ignore their posts.
