I put H is for Human on an elementary school paper where we had to identify an animal with each letter of the alphabet (I was also the only one with an X animal). Surprisingly I got a good grade despite it being a catholic school. I'm with animalcrackers though, I see very many intelligent animals, and not just primates/dolphins/crows. The carolla spiders gather squatz crystals to line their dens and then attach threads to them, as a sort of alarm system. When prey walks on the stones, vibrations travel through the rock and down the threads. You could just brush it off as evolution, but that is very smart for a creature with such a different nervous system to do in the first place.
