I went to my 20 year out of curiousity of how the people I remembered were looking. It was amazing, not much change at all.

Skinny folks were still skinny, jocks still strutted. I was still ignored. I went home and cried, I had remembered it as being better.

I skipped the 30 year, I am still curious, there is one girl I have known since I was 4 that is nice to me. She still has the scar across her eyebrow where I accidentally hit her with a baseball bat when I was 5. We were over an hour late to school once in the first grade when the pussywillows came out. They spanked us both.

But the reunion itself is too painful.

I just got my invitation to my 10 year HS reunion. The only person I was friends with in highschool is my current room mate, so I don't see any reason to go.

Our class hasn't even bothered having any reunions, and we're coming up on twenty years. It wasn't a small graduating class, but I guess the feelings are mutual all around.

My other facebook thought is if you actually want to meet and stay in contact with someone from school you facebook friend them, if you want to iqnore someone you don't. I see facebook ending/outdateing meny common reunions becouse why put in the effort to plan and attend if you already have a really good means of keeping up and talking to your old classmates. I know my mom and her friends to exactly that.

I never went to high school but if there was a reunion for the primary school I went to there is no way I would go.
