Just take a look at this list of black comedies and tell me you don't like em.
http://www.imdb.com/list/vsIxNZ5ju4w/Looked at the list, and there are so many movies there I don't like at all, so many I found really disappointing. The exception: Shaun of the dead, which I've watched lots of times.
To some degree: Zombieland (although it's very far from a favorite. I'm unlikely to watch it again.) and Braindead (the same)

I'll have already gotten the joke being set up in an American sitcom and then be bored\annoyed by the time they actually get around to telling it. I've chuckled a few times prematurely in the movie theater, leading me to think the others aren't seeing that far ahead.
That's happened to me too (when watching sitcoms at home, I hardly ever go to cinemas) and sometimes I'm surprised that they continue the joke because it's so obvious I don't get why everyone isn't laughing already.
I don't like slapstick and physical comedy. I generally like American sitcoms better that British ones, the only British series I like are Mr Bean and Blackadder. I like words better than situations. So Friends are usually a huge hit, but I don't find the couch scene when Chandler and Ross carry the couch up the stairs funny at all. I like sarcasm, so I like the series Becker, although I like the main character better than the actual series.
