I have to agree with your statement.
This video seems to indicate that we've all chosen this in life, it smells horribly of ignorance of real science that has been currently proven. I couldn't even watch the whole thing about the topic being discussed.
My final thought on this video is this:
The person speaking wants there to be a good side to how people view autism, however they lack real facts and have reaffirmed false belief that it's simply a lifestyle choice, which will get people to think even more that we're "faking it", resulting in the opposite effect that was supposedly intended. This person's agenda is self motivated and has nothing to do with real fact regarding any kind of "disorder". I think she should stick to metaphysical topics and leave the very physical brain's function out of it.
